To summarize the function of this page:
You are presented with a world map containing country, state, and place markers. Markers show the current
tide prediction for hundreds of places at a time, so you can see an entire region at a glance. By clicking on a place
marker you get the day's high and low tides tabulated and presented as a graph.
Clicking a country or state marker zooms you into the correct area.
Hovering the mouse of a place marker gives the time of the next tide and the current local time.
We have tide data for the following countries:
United States of America, Bahamas, Baja California (Mexico), Bermuda Islands, Cook Islands, Cuba,
Easter Island (Chile), Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia,
Haiti and Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Lesser Antilles & Virgin Islands, Marshall Islands
New Zealand, Niue Island (N.Z.), Northern Marianas Islands, Palau, Panama, Puerto Rico
Samoa and American Samoa, Tokelau, and Tonga.
For the USA, the following coastal states have tide information:
Alabama, Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Hawaiian Islands,
Louisiana, Maine, New Hampshire, Maryland, Massachusetts, District of Columbia, Mississippi, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia,
and Washington.
All times are corrected to local standard time, and the map gives the current time for any area.
